About Terry Microfiber Technology

Microfibers are tiny fibers that have been slit into millions of finer fibers that are no thicker than one hundredth of a human hair. The special slitting process produces an ultra-fine fiber with wedge shape filaments and a core of nylon. The wedge shape, the nylon core, and the smaller size fiber are the key to their effectiveness. When these tiny fibers are woven together into a cloth through a unique weaving method, the result is a powerful cleaning tool.

Each cloth consists of tens of thousands of tiny storage compartments that lift the dirt up, trap the waste and leave a clean streak-free surface. The nylon core within the microfiber form tiny cutting edges that break up surface dirt and easily absorb and remove oils and other grimy substances. The only solvent you need is water!

How to Use

Use wet, damp or dry. The microfiber construction allows the cloth to effectively clean either dry or wet depending on the task, all without chemicals.

Dusting: Use the cloth dry; or spray with a spritz of water for damp dusting.

Cleaning: Dampen the cloth, wring well, and wipe. . . OR mist a cloth with water to get the right amount of dampness.

  • Use Dry: dusting, cleaning up water, and cleaning mirrors.
  • Use Damp or wet: clean counters, dry washed car, clean cupboards etc.

Glass and All Hard-Washable Surfaces: Sinks, countertops, etc., turn on the water and start cleaning. Use a clean microfiber towel to wipe surfaces dry.

Care of the Terry Microfiber

  • Wash by hand or in washing machine with gentle detergent.
  • Dry in dryer or air dry.
  • DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER IN WASHER OR DRYER.
  • DO NOT USE BLEACH

Microfiber cloths should be washed and dried separately from other clothes and towels. This will prevent the absorption of lint from other fabrics. Also avoid fabric softener, and never use bleach: For quick cleaning, hand wash with any hand soap or dish washing liquid; rinse well.

For thorough cleaning use the washing machine. Microfiber loves hot water -- the hotter the better. It makes the microfibers swell to release trapped dirt.
